You can also try CQ Researcher which reviews a particular social problem or controversy every two weeks. The pro/con section of reports introduces a question for debate along with two short commentaries: one for and one against.

Another important place to look for opinion pieces is newspapers, in the Editorial or Opinion section.  In Nexis Uni, our most extensive newspaper database, try searching for the word opinion or editorial with your topic.
