In March 2012, the Drexel Library was connected to a new building, the Post Learning Commons. The entire project has:

  • Doubled the existing space for students
  • Provided a total of 120 computer work stations
  • Created an area devoted to Special Collections
  • Added a total of 24 collaborative study rooms, along with some specialty rooms for students
  • Remodeled and expanded bathroom facilities
  • Enhanced the cafe with an outdoor plaza. 
  • Added several "green" elements, including a partial green roof and ivy walls
